EDUCATION:

High School:

I graduated from Venice High at age 16 with high honors.  

College:

I immediately was admitted to UCLA at age 16  without an SAT TEST and started my PRE MEDICAL STUDIES. In point of fact I applied to just one University and that was UCLA. I had already decided upon MEDICAL SCHOOL and the specialty of SURGERY. 

Summer Surgery Research Fellowships while attending UCLA:

My keen interest in surgery and surgical research was present and I therefore was awarded two SUMMER RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS while still at UCLA at age 17 one summer and age 18 the following summer.

MEDICAL SCHOOL: USC SCHOOL OF MEDICINE:

After graduation from UCLA with high honors I attended USC MED SCHOOL graduating with high honors.

GENERAL SURGERY RESIDENCY:

Next I started my general surgery residency  training with  surgical residency at Ohio State University training with world renowned General Surgeon Robert Zollinger MD.  Dr Zollinger is known world wide for defining Zollinger - Ellison Syndrome along with Dr Ellison. I returned to Los Angeles to complete my General Surgery Residency Training at the well respected UCLA-VA General Surgery Residency Training Program.

PEDIATRIC SURGERY AFFILIATE RESIDENCY at LOS ANGELES CHILDRENS HOSPITAL:

While at the UCLA-VA program I did a Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital where I was introduced to Plastic Surgery which ultimately became my specialty as a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. After my Pediatric Surgery Fellowship I completed my General Surgery Residency Training at UCLA-VA.  

MICROVASCULAR SURGERY FELLOWSHIP:

Having decided upon Plastics I did two years of residency training at U Missouri MED CNTR doing a Fellowship in Microvascular Surgery. 

PLASTIC, RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY RESIDENCY:

Following my MICROVASCULAR SURGERY FELLOWSHIP, I did an additional three years residency training in PLASTIC, MAXILLOFACIAL & RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY at UTMB ( UNIV If Texas Medical Branch ).

College was four years, MED SCHOOL another four years, followed by nine years of surgery residency training ( four years General Surgery and five years of Plastic, Reconstructive, and  Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training as well as a Micro Vascular Surgery Fellowship, a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship and an Affiliate Residency in Pediatric Surgery.  That is a total of 17 years. ( if I add K thru 12 that is another 13 years or a a total of 30 years.

MY TRAINING & CREDENTIALS COMPARED TO THAT OF OTHER DOCS & TO OTHER PLASTIC SURGEONS:

Firstly I am Board Certified by the American Society if Plastic Surgery and have been so Certified since 1985:

Your family doc only did one year of internship.  Your internist only did CK three years of residency. Versus my 9 years of Surgical residency.  I did five years of Plastic residency vs most of the huge ego Beverly Hills plastic surgeons did only two years and are only in Beverly Hills because their mom and dad paid the rent.  I have been doing plastic surgery for 43 years  and in addition have been on the teaching staff at LAC-USCMC KECK SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, teaching plastic surgery residents.  My CV is huge describing my research and bibliography of #28 publications, & presentations at National Plastic Surgery, General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery Meeting, as well as the Plastic Surgery Chief Residency National Meetings since 1967.’

THE REASON I INVENT PLASTIC SURGICAL PROCEDURES SUCH AS MY ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY I EXPLAIN AS FOLLOWS:

What stands out for me as a plastic surgeon and physician is my inventiveness always questioning my former professors and finding new better simpler ways to solve problems that hither too had no answers.  And ultimately the basis of my  creativity and inventiveness is “my   DISTRUST OF EXPERTS who TELLS WHAT CAN BE DONE & WHAT CANNOT BE DONE.”  These so called experts rely upon their “DOGMA & RITUALS” which are “SACROSANCT” in their minds ( which means they believe their pronouncements are to be worshipped and never questioned because they are ‘DOCTORS IN WHITE COATS’ with ‘GOD COMPLEXES’ ). 

THE THREE MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENTS IN MY LIFE OCCURRED WHILE I WAS AT UTMB:

*NUMBER ONE  EVENT:

I met my wife to be who was HEAD NURSE ON PLASTIC SURGERY

*NUMBER TWO EVENT:

I began research that led to my invention of ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY. 

IN POINT OF fact I along with my wife to be Jackie began lab and clinical studies on Augmenting Viability of Sick Skin.

This study led to my conclusion that ailing and old skin lacked water and nutrients and a method was needed to augment viability which I determined was to augment interstitial diffusion which I invented. 

*NUMBER THREE EVENT:  MY COSMETIC SURGERY AND BAKER PEEL FELLOWSHIP:

Finally important event NUMBER THREE was my questioning of Dr Tom Baker’s chemical peel technique ( Baker Peel Formula ) and why was there a necessity to burn skin to get improvement.

Things I believe happen for a reason and the reason I spent two months with world renowned plastic surgeon Dr Tom Baker in Miami was that I was Chief Resident at UTMB in Plastic Surgery and many years prior Dr Baker was also Chief Resident at UTMB having also completed his Plastic training at UTMB.  

So I was invited having trained at me same program as Dr Baker by Dr Baker to train with him doing cosmetic surgery and BAKER PEELS. 

I was treated royally with a car to drive and residence to live at which was the after care facility owned by Dr Baker which he called “the White House”. The White House was not for after care of face lift patients but rather for Dr Baker’s chemical peel ( Baker Peel ) patients. 

These Baker Peel patients had caustic chemicals applied to their face followed by taping with white surgical tape. Post peel these patients would swell massively with their eyes swollen shut.

After a very long recuperation which could go on for six months there was indeed improvement in the skin with removal of wrinkles. 

From the first day I witnessed Dr Baker performing the Baker Peel I asked myself “why the need to burn skin to get improvement after a long recuperation”. 

I must admit out of respect I did not at the time question Dr Baker to his face because I knew his answer would be that “he was the doctor who invented the BAKER PEEL and per definition burning of skin with the Baker Peel was needed to get the positive results.

Other so called fruity acid peels were developed but they too required burning of skin to get skin improvement. 

I DO NOT TRUST EXPERTS:

My outlook on life had long been not to trust the experts because experts advise one what can be done and most importantly what cannot be done based upon their DOGMA and RITUALS.  

SINCE I NEVER TRUSTED EXPERTS:

SUFFICE IT TO SAY I ASKED “Why can’t I spray a liquid upon skin that is safe enough to spray in my mouth that would give immediate result as if a peel had been performed and in addition would put water into the skin and plump the skin all along being immediate in nature with no side effects and indeed after treatment change the skin so that it may be hydrated with tap water”

And I INVENTED ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY:

That is exactly what I invented in ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY. 

I INVENTED A MEANS TO ACTUALLY PUT WATER INTO THE SKIN, and hence TO ACTUALLY HYDRATE THE DKIN WITH WATER:

THE main hurtle was being able to hydrate the skin with water such that the water is retained and bound by the Hyaluronic Acid in the dermis with visible skin plumping and skin shrinking and obliteration of wrinkles and baby soft skin. I conquered that hurtle. 

I call my invention ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY:

My ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY does two amazing things that hither too were impossible to do:  I invented a  New Science I call ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY:  

I must give my departed wife Jackie full credit for teaching me an important lesson I used to create the “New Science” of ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY.

MY wife Jackie would often tell me if there are no words to describe something that has never been done before, then, she would say, invent new words, which I did.

So, with my wife Jackie’s words in my mind I invented not only new words to describe the new phenomenon but a new science of skin hydration which I call ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY.

(1)  My “New Science” which I call ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY allows water to penetrate the skin to the level of the dermis and to bind to the Hyaluronic Acid In the dermis layer.  

(2)  In addition my new science I call ESTHOTIQUE TECHNOLOGY, gives an immediate peel result without a peel and magically hydrates and smooths the skin by delivering water into the dermis of the skin. 

FAKE POTIONS, CAVIAR, 24 karot gold flakes, COLLAGEN and other “snake oil” remedies are included in the MULTI BILLION DOLLAR world wide skin care industry.  THESE “SNAKE OIL” derivatives neither hydrate the skin nor plump nor remove skin wrinkles.

In addition fake potions are included in the most expensive skin care regimens, everything from real caviar to 24 Karot gold flakes.  

THE BIG HOAX OF THE MULTI BILLION DOLLAR WORLD WIDE SKIN CARE INDUSTRY: 

We must all realize that the skin care and cosmetic industry perpetrates the hoax that topical HYALURONIC ACID can hydrate the skin by binding water and putting that water into the skin, as well as the hoax that Topical Collagen can somehow rejuvenate skin  

That is just Propaganda and an outright lie. The Hyaluronic Acid molecule is too large to penetrate the skin and therefore it is impossible for Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate the skin.  

On the contrary Hyaluronic Acid applied topically  to skin acts like a blotter which  sucks up ink on a paper and therefore in the same manner a topical layer of HYALURONIC ACID on the skin sucks out the water in the skin and dries the skin.  

Despite these facts every cosmetic or skin care regimen on planet earth contains Hyaluronic acid and consumers believe the lies the cosmetic and skin care industries continue to tell. 

Other worthless harmful ingredients are included in each and every skin care regimen

These harmful ingredients include detergents with pretty sounding names like Sodium Laural Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
